Backseatr is a social app. Depending on your privacy setting, your username, profile, and activity (such as sessions, reviews, and public lists) may be visible to other users. You can set your profile to private so that only approved followers can see your activity.

When you report content, we retain the target, reason, status, timestamps, and moderation decisions so we can investigate abuse, support users, and maintain an audit trail. Reports are not shown to other users. Blocking hides both users from each other across social features until the blocker reverses it.

We only share personal information with third parties as needed to operate the Service, or when required by law.

We keep your information for as long as your account is active. You can permanently delete your account and its associated active data immediately after secure sign-in, either in the app or from the web:

We use industry-standard measures, including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) and access controls, to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Backseatr is operated from Argentina. If you use the Service from another country, your information may be processed in countries with different data protection laws than your own.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or to object to certain processing. You can exercise many of these rights directly in the app, or by contacting us.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated policy.
